Our Story

Surfer Betty Surf Shack

Surfer Betty Surf Shack was born from saltwater, late nights, and the kind of friendship you only find in the ocean.

Founded by Katelyn Ferrara and Melissa Anderson, the Surf Shack is a love letter to coastal living where surf culture meets slow mornings, sandy feet, and a deep appreciation for the small, beautiful things.

What started as a shared lifestyle, chasing waves, creating, and building something meaningful turned into a space that reflects everything they believe in: community, creativity, and connection to the coast.

Housed in a vintage camper with a nostalgic nod to 70s surf culture, the Surf Shack isn’t just a store, it’s an experience. A place where you can find thoughtfully curated goods, discover local makers, and feel like you’ve stumbled upon something special.

Every detail, from the textures to the tones, is intentional. It’s effortless, sun-worn, and a little wild, just like the women who built it.

At its core, Surfer Betty Surf Shack exists for the sun chasers, ocean lovers, and anyone who feels most like themselves with salt in their hair and nowhere to be.

Welcome to the shack.
